PERUVIAN, ORGULLO HISPANO DEL METROPLEX

He came to the United States in 1980, and graduated in 1983 with a B.S. in Science and Engineering. Andres Ruzo was born in 1961 in Lima, Peru.

Andres Ruzo was elected to Parkland Foundation's board in June 2007. He has an impressive background in telecommunications and is the founder and CEO for Link America, which refurbishes and upgrades large switching systems for the telephone companies. In 2005, Ruzo received the Pacesetter Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at their annual banquet.

Ruzo earned his Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University in Science and Engineering and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas at Houston. He has further professional studies at Tuck University, Dartmouth School of Business, and Harvard Business School. MORE
